Illustrator-come-explorer Andrew Thorpe is on a constant journey studying colour combinations whilst discovering old and inventing new symbolisms along the way, coupled with extensive nonsense colour theories from around the globe.
Andrew’s discoveries are in the form of illustrations and hand made objects were displayed in ‘The Museum Colour’, which is set deep within the Dutch paint shop, Colour Makes People Happy, in the heart of South East London.
All work is printed using a Risograph. A process and quality similar to screen printing. Printed at Hato Press.
The exhibition was running in conjunction with -
